Job summary

Longyear Harvesting & Transportation in Marquette, MI, is seeking an experienced Log Truck Driver to join our team. Safety is our top priority; duties include operating a log truck, transporting wood products to job sites and yards, and maintaining trip tickets.

The role requires a CDL Class A, a high school diploma or GED, and a solid safety/driving record. ELD experience and tablet use are preferred. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package and year-round work.

We are looking for an experienced Log Truck Driver to join our team. Safety is our top priority. Duties include:

• Operate log truck safely consistent with Company, local, state and federal DOT transportation and safety regulations
• Transport wood products to/from job sites, log yards and customers during day, evening or overnight hours
• Perform maintenance tasks according to regulations
• Maintain trip tickets and scale slips for loads hauled
• Utilize tablets and maintain ELD compliance

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school graduate or GED
• Class A CDL
• Working knowledge of State and DOT regulations
• Tablet and smart phone experience, ELD experience
• Excellent safety & driving record
• Team Player
