Qualifications

• High School or GED or equivalent required.
• One-year route delivery experience or equivalent background driving a straight truck.
• CDL preferred; CDL holders designated as CDL driver for Sysco.
• Must be 21 years or older and free of recent drug/alcohol violations.
• No open violations in the FMCSA Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Run routes efficiently and meet designated times.
• Unload product from trailer and place in customer storage areas with hand carts.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and stack pallets.
• Verify delivery with customers and obtain signatures.
• Communicate errors/returns and contact management for discrepancies.
• Handle refuse or shorts calls professionally and follow safety rules.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations.
