Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is hiring a Local Delivery Driver in Escondido, CA to serve customers with 10–12 daily stops, handle freight, complete paperwork, and deliver excellent service. This position requires a CDL A or B, and hazmat endorsement within 60 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; fluent English reading/writing.
• Two years of driving experience or recent Truck Driving School certification with valid CDL.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Hazmat endorsement required within 60 days of hire.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two years.
• No alcohol-related convictions in the last ten years.
• Must pass DOT physical and obtain medical certificate.
• Able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers with 10–12 stops per day, handling freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent service.
• Count and record quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up.
• Complete hazmat shipping papers in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and identify maintenance needs.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers to meet business goals.
• Grow knowledge of how Linde operates to support company growth.
