Job summary

Pilgrim's is seeking a qualified driver to operate commercial vehicles in a safety‑driven environment. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, secure loads to DOT standards, and maintain accurate ELD records while navigating efficient routes to farms.

Requirements include a valid Class A CDL with a clean record and at least one year of driving experience. You must pass a DOT physical and drug screening and be able to lift up to 75 lbs as needed for outdoor work.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 1 year driving experience.
• Must pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening.
• Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Deep knowledge of DOT cargo securement regulations (chains, binders, straps).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles, including heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
• Drive or guide forklifts onto and off trailers safely.
• Ensure securement with chains, straps, and binders per DOT guidelines.
• Plan efficient routes and navigate to designated farms.
• Perform mandatory pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report defects.
• Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records.
