Job summary

Pilgrim’s Live Haul Driver role involves safely transporting live birds from farms to production sites, operating and inspecting hauling equipment, and ensuring delivery schedules and compliance with safety standards. You will work with live haul and farm teams to ensure accurate deliveries and proper documentation.

The position requires a valid CDL Class A and at least 12 months of tractor/trailer experience within the last 36 months, with a focus on safety, biosecurity, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A commercial driver license (CDL) and 12 months of tractor/trailer experience in the past 36 months.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Strong safety and biosecurity awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate live haul trucks safely and efficiently.
• Inspect equipment and report issues.
• Maintain product quality and truck/area cleanliness.
• Communicate with farm staff, supervisors, and maintenance teams.
• Follow safety, biosecurity, and regulatory guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
