Job summary

Roadmaster Drivers School is seeking a CDL Class A driver to become an instructor and mentor the next generation of truck drivers. You will teach safety skills and best practices while modeling professional conduct and prioritizing safety on all operations.

The role involves daily in-person instruction, supervision of trainees, and documentation of attendance and training records, with a standard M-F schedule and full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• A valid Class A CDL is required with limited moving violations.
• Minimum 2 years of over-the-road or local driving experience.
• Ability to train and communicate effectively with students.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate driving operations to students regularly.
• Oversee safe operation and adherence to policy and standards.
• Supervise trainees and complete attendance/training records.
• Provide in-person daily instruction in pre-trip inspection, control skills and road driving.
