Job summary

SAGE Truck Driving School in Phoenix, AZ is seeking CDL Driving Instructors to train the next generation of drivers. The role emphasizes hands-on instruction of maneuvers, safety, and vehicle control on both the range and public roads.

You will communicate instructions, assess student performance, and guide trainees through the curriculum; no prior teaching experience is required. Benefits include health plans, home nights and weekends, paid holidays, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL License.
• Minimum two years of practical trucking experience.
• Safe CDL A driving record as determined by the SAGE Safety Department.
• Ability to demonstrate curriculum topics to students.

Responsibilities

• Communicate instructions to students and assess performance.
• Guide students on maneuvers on a skills driving range and on the road.
• Deliver lessons in accordance with SAGE curriculum during shifts.
