Job summary

SAGE is seeking a qualified CDL Driving Instructor to train the next generation of truck drivers. You will deliver classroom and hands-on instruction, focusing on safe, compliant truck operation on range and public roads.

The ideal candidate has a valid Class A CDL, at least two years of trucking experience, and a clean driving record. Expect 4–12 hour shifts with home nights and weekends, benefits, and a supportive team. Join a respected national program with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL License.
• Minimum two (2) years of trucking experience with instructional competency.
• Safe CDL A driving record as determined by the Safety Department.
• Knowledge of the principles and practices of safe truck driving and related regulations.
• Positive, professional attitude toward performance and safety.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students and communicate driving instructions.
• Assess student performance and provide guidance on maneuvers.
• Conduct on-range and on-road training in 4–12 hour shifts.
