MasTec Communications Group is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to support all phases of utility construction for telecom projects. You will operate backhoes, trenchers, and related machinery, ensuring maintenance and safety standards.

You will troubleshoot field issues, read utility locates, and collaborate with the team to maintain high productivity in a safety-minded environment.

Qualifications

• Safety is a part of day-to-day work.
• Track record of completing work with a high level of quality.
• Hands-on problem solving with a practical approach.
• Looking for long-term projects.
• Enjoy getting hands dirty with your team.
• Experience operating heavy equipment on a construction site.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a DOT med card; CDL required.
• Occasional travel, on-call rotation, and possible night work.
