Job summary

PUSH, Inc. in Seney, MI is seeking a skilled CDL Directional Drill Operator/Locator (HDD) to install fiber-optic and other cables using HDD trenchless methods. You will read prints, operate HDD equipment, and guide less experienced crew members.

Qualifications include valid Class A CDL, field HDD experience around utilities, and ability to work outdoors in varying weather. The role offers competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience with Horizontal Directional Drilling around utilities in rural and urban areas.
• Ability to read prints and schematics.
• Willingness to train and mentor other team members.

Responsibilities

• Operate Directional Bore equipment for installation of underground cable or utilities.
• Ensure proper steering based on job preparations and projections.
• Maintain bore profile plots and provide drilling data to customers.
• Inspect and maintain equipment; perform routine maintenance.
• Read utility locates and coordinate day lighting of facilities.
• Assist with basic labor and ensure site setup and cleanup.
