Job summary

Qualifications

• GED required; 21+ years old.
• Two years of driving experience or completed truck driver training.
• No major violations or alcohol-related convictions in last 2–10 years.
• Current medical examiner’s certificate or ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Class A or B CDL with HazMat endorsement or ability to obtain within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and unload cylinders; reload empty cylinders.
• Driving constitutes ~30% of the day; remainder deliveries, handling, shipping orders, paperwork, and inspections.
• Accurately record quantities and styles of products delivered/picked up; complete Hazardous Materials shipping orders per DOT/TC.
• Placard vehicles per hazardous material regulations and Linde standards.
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; identify and arrange timely vehicle maintenance.
• Operate equipment and interface with internal and external customers; use handheld devices for transactions and route following.
