Job summary

Linde plc. is seeking a delivery professional to perform customer deliveries and cylinder handling in the Marlborough area. You will load/unload, follow Hazmat procedures, and document transactions using handheld devices.

Expect ~30% driving with daily routes to diverse customers, plus vehicle inspections and safety compliance. The role requires a valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement, 2 years driving experience or equivalent training, and the ability to pass a DOT physical.

Qualifications

• 2 years driving experience or completion of a truck driver training program.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions or moving violations in the past 2 years.
• No alcohol-related convictions in the last 10 years.
• Current DOT medical certificate or ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Valid Class A CDL required and Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Read/write in English; High School diploma or GED.
• You must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Unload products and move them to customer use points and reload returned empties.
• Drive ~30% of the day; perform delivery, cylinder handling, paperwork, and vehicle inspections.
• Accurately count and record quantities delivered and picked up.
• Complete Hazmat shipping papers per DOT/TC regulations.
• Placard vehicle per Hazmat rules and LINDE standards.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; identify needed vehicle maintenance.
• Operate a variety of equipment and interface with customers.
• Deliver to Industrial, Service, Educational and Medical customers.
• Use handheld devices for paperwork and compliance tasks.
• Follow a computer-generated Route and Sequence delivery plan.
