Job summary

Linde plc in Rock Island, IL is seeking a CDL delivery driver to join our team. You will deliver products to customers averaging 10–12 stops per day, handle paperwork, and provide excellent service while documenting quantities and styles.

Must have a high school diploma or GED, CDL Class B, hazmat endorsement (or obtain within 60 days), and pass a DOT physical. You will perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and lift up to 75 pounds. Linde offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED with proficient reading/writing in English.
• Two years of consecutive driving experience or recent Truck Driving School certification with a valid Class B CDL.
• Must be 21 years or older and hazmat endorsement or obtain within 60 days of hire.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in past 2 years.
• No alcohol-related convictions within last 10 years.
• Must pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers, averaging 10–12 stops per day, and handle paperwork.
• Accurately count and record quantities and styles of delivered and picked up products.
• Complete hazmat shipping paperwork in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Identify needs for timely vehicle repairs or maintenance.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers to meet goals.
• Continuously expand knowledge of Linde’s operations and growth.
