Job summary

Thompson-Arthur Paving and Construction, a CRH company, based in Greensboro, NC, is seeking a Distributor/Tack Truck Driver to support highway and roadway projects. The role involves operating the asphalt distributor, applying liquid asphalt, and assisting crew tasks as needed on long shifts often extending 8–12 hours.

This position requires a CDL with hazmat endorsements, a high school diploma (preferred), and a willingness to work overtime, with safety compliance at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Commercial Driver's License with hazmat endorsements required.

Responsibilities

• Operate asphalt distributor truck.
• Set spray bar on manual/auto distributor for applying liquid asphalt.
• Follow verbal instructions from crew foreman and assist other positions.
• Apply liquid from distributor to designated areas with attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Maintain PPE and safety standards; overtime and out-of-town work may be required.
