Job summary

Hinkle Contracting, LLC, a CRH Company, is seeking a CDL driver to operate an asphalt distributor truck and support roadwork projects. You will perform inspections, comply with DOT regulations, and maintain a safe work environment on site.

The role requires a valid CDL (A or B), Hazmat/Tanker endorsement within 60 days, and the ability to travel and work nights or weekends as needed. Safety and teamwork are essential in daily operations.

Qualifications

• CDL class A or B required or obtainable.
• Hazmat/Tanker endorsement must be obtained within 60 days at company expense.
• Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Pass a pre-employment Fit for Work physical.
• Provide valid I-9 documentation.
• Be willing to travel and work nights/weekends as needed.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures per OSHA/MSHA.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate asphalt distributor oil truck with spray capabilities.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections with documentation.
• Follow DOT regulations and company policies.
• Maintain clean, safe vehicle and work environment.
• Assist with general labor tasks (raking, shoveling) as needed.
• Support foreman and team on project sites and follow instructions.
