Job summary

GFL is seeking a Front-End Driver in Wisconsin to service multi-family and commercial routes, transporting waste or recyclables to designated facilities. The role requires safe operation of frontload or ancillary equipment and daily pre/post-trip checks.

Responsibilities include courteous customer interactions, accurate logs, and strict adherence to safety standards. CDL or CDL school certificate is required, with legal work eligibility in the United States.

Qualifications

• CDL required or CDL school certificate.
• Minimum 1 year commercial truck driving experience or CDL school completion.
• Ability to meet safety-sensitive criteria.
• Ability to safely drive the truck and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive frontload or ancillary equipment along designated routes to collect solid waste and transport to post-collection facilities.
• Open container enclosures or gates to access cans and load 3-4 yard cans as needed.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and submit vehicle condition reports.
• Interact courteously with customers and the public; report issues to supervisor.
• Maintain logs and route/productivity sheets as required by law or policy.
• Maneuver truck in tight spaces and use maps and GPS to locate service addresses.
• Follow safety standards and company rules on vehicle operation.
