Job summary

GFL seeks Front-End Drivers to operate front-end trucks on multi-family and commercial routes, transporting waste or recyclables to post-collection facilities. You will service multiple customers daily and ensure timely transfers to the appropriate station.

Candidates must hold a CDL or CDL school certificate, with at least one year of driving experience, and demonstrate safe driving, map/GPS use, and courteous customer service. Safety policies must be followed.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CDL.
• Minimum of one (1) year commercial truck driving experience OR CDL school certificate.
• Able to meet safety-sensitive criteria and demonstrate safe driving.

Responsibilities

• Drive front-load or ancillary equipment along designated routes to collect solid waste and transport to post-collection facilities.
• Open container enclosures, unload cans and ensure proper dumping.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and complete vehicle reports.
• Interact courteously with customers and report issues to supervisor.
• Maintain site cleanliness and safety around the truck and containers.
• Log daily routes and vehicle condition reports as required.
