Job summary

Waste Pro is seeking a reliable Front Load Driver to safely operate collection vehicles, service assigned routes, and keep equipment in top working condition. The Front Load Driver operates refuse collection vehicles on pre-assigned routes to pick up containers and transport waste to disposal sites.

Responsibilities include pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintaining clean trucks, completing route sheets, and delivering professional customer service.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class A or B CDL valid for the state of work.
• Minimum age 21 years or older.
• Understand refuse collection policies and DOT rules.
• Good hearing in the normal audio range.
• Normal vision with or without correction.
• Able to operate front-end, side, rear-end, or roll-off trucks safely.
• Able to manipulate heavy equipment control levers.
• Follow a designated refuse collection route and schedule.
• Understand and carry out written and oral instructions.
• Maintain written records and service responses.
• Speak and read English well enough to communicate on the job.

Responsibilities

• Serves commercial customers by emptying Front Load Containers and loading waste.
• Completes route/productivity sheets, mileage, fuel, and logbooks as required.
• Communicates professionally with customers and reports issues to supervisors.
• Operates truck safely, conducts pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Ensures materials are safe for transport and maintains safety on routes.
• Cleans the packer blade and truck body; washes exterior weekly.
• Maintains a clean truck and follows safety and regulatory guidelines.
