Job summary

Capital Waste Services is seeking a safety-conscious Front-End Driver to service commercial waste containers on an assigned route with a Front-End Loader (FEL) truck. You will provide exceptional customer service while complying with DOT and company safety regulations and operating independently on daily routes.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, self-motivated, and committed to operating safely, maintaining high service standards, and representing Capital Waste Services in our communities

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL.
• Minimum 3 years of Front-End experience.
• Ability to pass DOT drug screen, background check, and physical.
• Minimum age of 21 years.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Front-End Loader (FEL) truck to collect and transport commercial waste.
• Complete assigned routes efficiently and according to established schedules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly.
• Ensure proper servicing of commercial containers while minimizing property damage.
• Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Interact professionally with customers and address service-related concerns appropriately.
• Use route management technology and onboard systems as required.
• Keep vehicles clean and in good operating condition.
• Report accidents, incidents, equipment failures, and safety hazards immediately.
• Complete route documentation, inspection reports, and other required paperwork accurately and timely.
• Assist with training new drivers when assigned.
