Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling seeks a CDL Float Driver to safely operate an automated side load truck on assigned routes, servicing residential, commercial, industrial, or municipal customers. You will perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and ensure on-time deliveries while upholding safety and company standards.

The role requires a valid CDL with a clean driving record, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and excellence in communication and customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an automated side load truck (ASL Truck) on assigned routes.
• Service residential, commercial, industrial, or municipal customers as needed.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any concerns.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle and represent Kirby Sanitation professionally.
