Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling, including Kirby Sanitation, LLC, is hiring a CDL Driver to operate a rear-load waste removal truck on residential routes. You will collect, transport and service materials while providing excellent customer service and upholding safety standards.

The role requires CDL, a clean driving record, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather. Overtime and flexible schedules may be required as we grow together as a team.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and associated equipment.
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Willingness to work overtime and varying schedules.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a rear load waste removal truck on assigned routes.
• Service residential, commercial, industrial, or municipal customers on route.
• Collect, transport, deliver, exchange, or dispose of materials per procedures.
• Operate hydraulic equipment and vehicle controls safely and efficiently.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Report mechanical concerns, safety issues, accidents, or delays promptly.
• Communicate with dispatch and operations throughout the day.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle.
• Collaborate with teammates to support other operations as needed.
• Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
