Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling is hiring a CDL Automated Side Loader Driver to safely operate a side loader along assigned routes, serving residential, commercial, and municipal customers with a focus on safety and service. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, document routes, and maintain a professional vehicle while representing the company in daily interactions.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to DOT regulations, and flexibility to work overtime as needed.

• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and equipment

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an Automated Side Loader Truck on assigned routes.
• Service residential, commercial, industrial, or municipal customers based on assigned route.
• Collect, transport, deliver, exchange, or dispose of materials in accordance with procedures.
• Operate hydraulic equipment and vehicle controls safely and efficiently.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Report mechanical concerns, safety issues, accidents, or route delays promptly.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations throughout the day.
• Utilize onboard technology to complete route documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle.
• Assist teammates with other operational needs as directed by management.
• Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Wear required PPE at all times.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing Coastal professionally.
