Asplundh Brush Control, LLC is seeking an Equipment Operator with a CDL to operate heavy equipment and clear vegetation from electrical lines. The role requires travel to various job sites across multiple states and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must identify tree and shrub species.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, excavators, loaders, dump trucks, mowers, and stump grinders.
• Transport equipment to multi-state job locations.
• Install and remove gates, fences, barb wire, culverts, rocks and base.
• Work around hazardous equipment and noise; wear hearing protection.
• Apply herbicide to right-of-way following brush removal.
• Maintain trucks, chipper, and equipment in good condition.
