Adecco is currently assisting a local company recruit for CDL Class A&B drivers in Honolulu, HI. These are Direct Hire positions with a pay range of $27 to $30/hr. DOE.
Primary Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles safely and in accordance with company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and all applicable traffic and safety regulations.
- Load and secure produce orders onto delivery vehicles according to route requirements and company procedures.
- Verify customer orders against shipping documents prior to delivery.
- Deliver product to assigned customers following established delivery routes and schedules.
- Unload products using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other delivery equipment as required.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery questions, order discrepancies, shortages, damages, or concerns.
- Collect payments, receipts, and required documentation from customers when assigned.
- Return all money, receipts, delivery documents, and required paperwork according to company procedures.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, vehicle logs, and required documentation.
- Assist with warehouse duties loading, and other transportation related tasks as assigned.
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to pass required DOT physical examination (CDL positions).
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to operate pallet jacks and move weighted carts on various surfaces.
- Must be able to frequently bend, stoop, reach, climb, and stand during loading and unloading activities.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks in a refrigerated environment.
