Job summary

WM is the leading environmental solutions company in North America. This role involves operating heavy-duty trucks, dumping and transporting waste or recyclables, and adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, communicate with dispatch, and help improve route efficiencies while maintaining high customer service standards across residential, commercial, and industrial routes.

Qualifications

• 1 year operating a vehicle requiring a CDL or 1 year equivalent military driving within the last 7 years.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located.
• Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to interact with the public, understand traffic signs, respond to official questions, and complete records or reports.
• Successfully complete pre-employment screening, including drug screen and physical

Responsibilities

• Operates vehicle in accordance with WM safety and DOT requirements.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections using DVIR.
• Immediately reports unsafe situations or issues to Operations Manager or Dispatch.
• Attends and participates in scheduled training programs and meetings.
• Notifies Operations Manager of incidents, service interruptions, or safety hazards.
• Completely dumps all receptacles and leaves the customer site clean and debris-free.
