Job summary

WM is seeking CDL drivers to operate heavy-duty trucks, delivering waste and recyclables while upholding safety and regulatory standards. This position involves navigating urban routes, proper handling of containers, and accurate documentation.

The role requires at least 1 year of CDL driving experience, a valid CDL with air-brake endorsement, and ability to read, write, and speak English. Pre-employment screening and health checks are required.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B with air-brake endorsement required.
• 1 year CDL driving experience or 1 year of equivalent military driving in last 7 years.
• Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the country where the position is located.
• Able to read, write, and speak English.
• Pre-employment drug screen and physical required.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle in accordance with WM safety rules, OSHA and DOT requirements.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and document checks.
• Report unsafe situations or service issues promptly.
• Attend scheduled training and meetings as required.
• Coordinate with Operations/Dispatch to improve route efficiencies.
• Complete end-of-day documentation and end-of-day check-out process.
• Assist other drivers as needed to meet customer needs.
