Job summary

Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority is seeking a Safety Sensitive utility worker to support the Collection System Maintenance division. The role involves manual tasks, vehicle operation with safety checks, and keeping tools and sites organized.

A CDL Class A is required and tanker endorsement must be obtained within 30 days. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, some experience with commercial vehicles, and familiarity with ArcGIS and GPS mapping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have valid Arkansas commercial driver's license (Class A).
• Must obtain CDL tanker endorsement within 30 days of employment.
• Prefer one year of experience in the maintenance and operation of a Commercial Vehicle.
• Prefer knowledge and experience in ArcGIS and digital GPS mapping/routing.
• Must meet the training requirements and obligations of the Utility Worker CDL Career Path within two years.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Crew Leader and/or Supervisor instructions at all times.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials.
• Operate and maintain various equipment and vehicles daily with safety checks.
• Perform backfill and cleanup tasks as required.
• Load/unload and secure equipment and heavy supplies as needed.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and fleet inventories.
• Keep work sites neat and orderly and assist with grounds upkeep.
• Follow safety rules and wear required PPE due to hazards.
