Job summary

Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority is seeking a Safety Sensitive Maintenance Technician to support the Collection System Maintenance division. The role involves inspecting CCTV equipment, assisting in repairs, using hand tools, and locating sewer issues for repair under supervision.

Will coordinate with homeowners and contractors, prepare daily reports, and uphold safety and uniform standards. The position requires a high school diploma, valid Arkansas CDL Class A license with tanker

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must obtain PACP, MACP & LACP within 6 months.
• Must have valid Arkansas CDL Class A license.
• Must obtain CDL tanker endorsement within 30 days of employment.
• Experience with ArcGIS, CMMS and Outlook preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows instructions of the Crew Leader and/or Supervisor at all times.
• Performs daily inspections and maintenance of all CCTV equipment (cameras, transporters, push reels, etc.)
• Assists Crew Leader in diagnosing and repairing all CCTV equipment as needed.
• Uses pick, shovel, and/or other hand tools according to the requirements of the job at hand.
• Assists Crew Leader in locating and marking sewer related issues for repair.
• Assists Crew Leader in scheduling work including coordination with homeowners and contractors.
• Assists Crew Leader in completing daily reports.
• Assists Crew Leader in structuring preventive maintenance cleaning schedules as required.
• Maintains and accounts for all tools, equipment, and fleet used.
• Keeps all work sites neat and orderly.
• Assists in general upkeep of Utility buildings and grounds on a regular basis.
• Maintains a good driving record.
• Follows safety practices and guidelines at all times, including wearing proper PPE.
• Follows established work procedures and practices.
• Undertakes any reasonable request within capabilities that is good for the community and the Utility.
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
