Job summary

Ancora Education is seeking a TEMP CDL Driver Trainer to support and perform driver training functions for the CDL program at the Lawrenceville location. This temporary role involves end-of-season training and may span up to 90 days, with responsibilities in classroom, range, and over-the-road instruction.

The role requires a valid CDL, 3 years on-the-road experience, DOT physical/pass drug screenings, and the ability to train students while enforcing safety and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL and the Class level required for the role.
• 3 years of verifiable on-the-road experience within last 5 years.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screenings.
• Ability to maintain Medical Examiner Certificate and pass DOT drug tests on hire and ongoing.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and maintains a positive learning environment.
• Train students in trucking and driving basics.
• Administer written tests and evaluate grades.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of commercial motor vehicles.
• Instruct backings, parking maneuvers, and driving techniques.
