Job summary

Ancora Education in Ohio seeks a temporary CDL Driver Trainer to support and perform all driver training functions for the CDL program at the assigned location. The role supports Amazon Career Choice associates in dedicated markets and may last up to 90 days.

The trainer will conduct classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction, administer tests, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while maintaining accurate records and fostering a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL at appropriate class level for the role.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3 years of verifiable on-the-road experience in the last 5 years.
• Must pass DOT physical and DOT drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and supervise CDL driving instruction.
• Administer written tests and evaluate student progress.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and air-brake tests.
• Maintain student records and progress using institution tools.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance during training.
