Job summary

TransWest Mobility is seeking a Driver Trainer to lead safety training and onboarding for CDL, Non-CDL, and ADA Drivers. The role collaborates with Operations to meet client training and safety needs and emphasizes safety as a core value.

The position covers classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction, DOT-related procedures, and ongoing trainer support to ensure high-quality driver performance and client service. A valid CDL and DOT requirements are essential.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate proficiently in English.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and document driver safety training with initial safety orientation, classroom concepts and implementation of safe driving.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and safe workplace practices; assist with vehicle-related incidents and retraining.
• Instruct trainees on providing excellent client service; greet clients professionally and assist with boarding/de-boarding.
• Maintain schedules or information for rider use; explain transportation options to riders.
