Job summary

You will train students, administer tests, maintain records, ensure safety, and comply with DOT and school policies, under supervision of the Program Director or Lead Trainer.

Qualifications

• CDL required with appropriate class level.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3 years verifiable on-the-road experience within the last 5 years.
• MVR and background check including drug screening.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and DOT drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and maintains a positive learning environment.
• Convenes all assigned classes per schedule.
• Maintains records of student progress and attendance.
• Delivers trucking instruction across road, range, and classroom.
• Administers written tests and evaluates grades.
• Maintains safety and compliance with DOT rules.
• Interacts professionally with students and staff.
• Demonstrates pre-trip inspections and air-brake tests.
