Job summary

Performance Food Group (Performance Foodservice) is seeking a Training Delivery Driver Trainer to educate delivery drivers on job duties, DOT compliance, safe practices, and company policies. You will deliver hands-on training in classroom and field settings, provide timely feedback, and work with new hires and experienced drivers to develop core skills.

Responsibilities include meeting service times and cost targets, conducting route observations, and ensuring accurate deliveries, equipment

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
3–5 years of route delivery driver experience in foodservice distribution with DOT knowledge.
Valid CDL A and at least 21 years old.
Clean MVR for the past 3 years and pass pre-employment drug test.
Valid DOT Health Card or able to secure one.

Responsibilities

Educates delivery drivers on job duties, safety rules, and DOT compliance using company guides and checklists.
Delivers hands-on training in classroom and field settings and provides timely feedback to drivers.
Works with new hires and experienced drivers to develop core skills and professional driver readiness.
Ensures routes meet service times, labor and transportation cost targets, and safety guidelines.
Demonstrates strong customer service skills and professional communication.
May supplement training with location-specific programs and reports.
Performs route delivery duties per company guidelines and safety regulations including pre/post trip and load inspections.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
