Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Springfield, VT is seeking an entry level Driver Trainee to learn delivering and unloading food products along intrastate and interstate routes. You will train to operate tractor-trailer or straight truck safely, following DOT regulations and company policies while providing professional service to customers and vendors.

Successful candidates will complete the PFG Entry Level Driver Trainee program, work with a driver trainer, pass safety checks and road tests, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED obtained.
• Valid CDL-A or CDL-B license.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years and ability to pass DOT drug test.

Responsibilities

• Attend and complete the PFG Entry Level Driver Trainee program.
• Ride with driver trainer and assist deliveries as required.
• Perform pre/post trip safety checks and inspections per DOT.
