Performance Foodservice in Springfield, MO seeks an entry-level Driver Trainee to learn tractor trailer or straight truck routes intrastate/interstate, local, OTR and overnight deliveries for food products. CDL A required; 21+; training program completed; safety and customer service emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 0-6 months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A license and able to pass post-offer tests.

Responsibilities

• Attend and complete Entry Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training.
• Assist driver trainer and follow instructions for deliveries.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections per DOT regulations.
• Drive to deliver customer orders according to schedule.
• Unload products, collect signatures, and secure freight.
