Job summary

PFG Customized is seeking an entry level Driver Trainee to learn tractor-trailer and straight truck deliveries across local and interstate routes for food products. You will train under a driver mentor, perform safety checks, and ensure DOT compliance while delivering orders to customers.

The role requires a valid CDL A Permit, must be 21 or older, and a clean MVR. Day 1 benefits are included along with growth opportunities within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL A Permit.
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years and pass post‑offer drug test/road test.

Responsibilities

• Attend and complete Entry Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program.
• Assist driver trainer during deliveries and learn routes.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and DOT compliance checks.
• Drive to and deliver customer orders per route schedule.
• Unload, verify items, collect signatures and handle returns as needed.
• Maintain security of tractor, trailer and freight at all times.
• Complete daily hours of service records per DOT and company rules.
