Job summary

High Country Beverage, Colorado's family-owned beverage distributor, is hiring a Delivery Driver Trainee for our Grand Junction facility. Local routes, no overnights, home daily. No prior CDL or commercial driving experience is required.

We cover 100% of your Class A CDL training costs and you ride along with experienced drivers and a CDL instructor. This is a paid, full-time entry-level role with early mornings, Monday–Friday, typically 5:00–6:00 a.m., and you will be home every afternoon with

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old (federal interstate requirement).
• Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical.
• Ability to reliably report to work and maintain attendance.
• Able to lift 30 pounds and handle heavier items with equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ride with experienced drivers on local routes and learn procedures.
• Participate in paid in-house Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) and earn a CDL learner's permit.
• Help deliver beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages to retail accounts using hand-truck and pallet jack.
• Keep a DOT medical card and CDL learner's permit current during training and stay compliant with policies.
• Maintain team dependability with reliable attendance and engaged training.
