Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 21+ years old; valid driver's license and Class A CDL.
• Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience; 2 years preferred.
• Pass MVR; obtain a DOT medical card.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• May load or assist with loading and appropriately securing product, materials, or supplies inside delivery vehicle.
• Delivers customer orders to specified delivery site; maneuvers vehicles; assists unloading and protects product.
• Verifies order details and maintains logs of deliveries, mileage, and locations.
• Acts as a customer service liaison; handles concerns and resolves issues.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety of delivery vehicles; performs routine checks.
• Uses handheld devices to ensure DVIR/HOS compliance.
• Maintains hours of service logs and pre/post trip inspections.
• May perform credit/product return pickups and related paperwork.
• Operate a forklift or non-motorized material handling equipment as needed.
• Observes safety procedures and participates in safety meetings.
