Job summary

Higginbotham Brothers is seeking a CDL Driver I to safely transport materials to various job sites and locations. You will maintain Class A/B license, perform pre-/post-trip inspections, manage logs, and assist in loading and unloading materials, while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years CDL experience preferred; basic CDL experience with flat beds and/or tractor trailers required.
• Experience transporting and handling lumber and building materials required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A or B vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Deliver to active construction sites and locations; inter-state travel may be required.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections.
• Provide professional customer service and relay messages to clients and supervisors.
• Load/unload materials and secure loads; verify order accuracy.
• Maintain DOT-compliant logs of driving hours and on-duty time.
• Safely operate forklift to load/unload materials at job sites.
• Keep truck clean and organized for operation.
• Assist with stocking inventory in warehouse and production areas.
