Job summary

US LBM is seeking a CDL Driver I to safely transport lumber and building materials to job sites across local and interstate routes from Albuquerque, NM. You will perform DOT inspections, manage logs, and ensure accurate loading and unloading while delivering exceptional customer service.

The role requires a Class A or B CDL, 1–2 years of CDL experience, and the ability to handle flat beds and tractor trailers. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years CDL experience preferred.
• Experience transporting lumber and building materials required.
• Basic CDL experience with flat beds and/or tractor trailers.

Responsibilities

• Operates Class A or B commercial vehicles in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner.
• Delivers to active construction sites, completed builds; city and interstate travel as needed.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety and compliance.
• Provides professional customer service and represents the company positively.
• Organizes and secures loads; verifies orders before departure and on delivery.
• Adheres to DOT regulations and logs; maintains DOT-compliant logs.
• Delivers and unloads materials; ensures customer satisfaction at delivery.
• Records returned merchandise and assists in unloading for credit.
• Operates truck-mounted forklift; loads/unloads at job sites.
• Maintains truck cleanliness and readiness for operation.
• Assists with stocking and organizing warehouse inventory.
