Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions is seeking a CDL Driver to safely operate tractor-trailer rigs under DOT regulations, transporting equipment and crews to job sites. The role includes rigging, load securement, tarping, and daily documentation, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

The ideal candidate holds a valid Class A CDL with Airbrakes and combo endorsements, 2+ years of driving experience, and 3+ years in construction or related fields.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Class A CDL with Airbrakes and combo endorsements must be current.
• Minimum 2 years driving experience at ACDL level.
• Minimum 3 years experience in construction service or similar field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of operating equipment (forklifts, man lifts, mobile platforms).
• Experience with load securement and safe hauling practices.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor-trailer rigs safely under DOT regulations to transport equipment and crews to job sites.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily.
• Perform electronic logging as required.
• Rigging, attaching loads, and guiding loads with precision for safe movement.
• Complete housekeeping and daily paperwork for the job site.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment to meet project goals.
