Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions is seeking a CDL Driver to operate tractor-trailer rigs in Chantilly, VA, complying with DOT regulations. The role involves loading/unloading, rigging, securing loads, and completing daily paperwork in a team environment.

The successful candidate will hold a Class A CDL with endorsements, have 2+ years of CDL driving experience, and 3+ years in the construction services industry, with strong knowledge of load securement and equipment operation.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Class A CDL with Air Brakes and Combo endorsements.
• Minimum two years of proven CDL driving experience.
• Minimum three years of proven experience in the construction service industry.
• Basic knowledge of operating equipment (forklifts, lifts).
• Experience with load securement and safe hauling practices.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools and hand, power and pneumatic tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily.
• Drive tractor-trailer rigs under DOT regulations to job sites.
• Handle and secure loads, tarping, and tie-downs.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment as needed.
• Complete required paperwork daily.
• Work in a safe, professional, and team-oriented manner.
