Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions is seeking a CDL Driver to safely operate tractor-trailer combinations under DOT regulations to move equipment and crews to job sites. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensure load securement.

Responsibilities include rigging, use of hand and power tools, and working with multiple trailer types while maintaining safety and compliance. The role requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to follow detailed safety procedures on busy construction

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Class A CDL with Air brakes and combo endorsements.
• Minimum two years proven CDL driving experience.
• Minimum three years experience in construction/related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily.
• Drive tractor-trailer rigs per DOT regulations to move equipment.
• Secure loads, tarp, tie-down, and unload equipment safely.
• Operate and test rigging for safety and reliability.
• Direct and assist with hoisting and moving loads to ensure safety.
• Perform housekeeping and complete paperwork daily.
• Use hand and power tools for rigging and setup.
• Dismantle and store rigging equipment after use.
• Align, level, and anchor machinery on sites.
