Qualifications

• CDL driver with 3–4 years of related training experience.
• Experience delivering adult training and education.
• Familiar with DOT regulations and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and conducts driver orientation and defensive driving training, plus remedial driver training.
• Evaluates training effectiveness and recommends program modifications to improve driver performance, safety, retention, and regulatory compliance.
• Performs DOT drug screen collections.
• Reviews hours of service information, paperwork, and qualification cards for training purposes.
• Travels to off-site locations as required.
• Assists drivers during initial tractor assignment with training on truck systems and onboard communications.
• Maintains inventory of orientation supplies and restocks as needed.
• Serves as a subject matter expert on driver onboarding, training, and qualification requirements.
• Completes onboarding paperwork and assists with paperwork throughout orientation process.
