Job summary

WM in Colorado is seeking Commercial Drivers to operate heavy-duty trucks with load lift attachments, serving disposal, transfer or recycling facilities. Roles include residential, roll-off, and front-end routes with skilled backing maneuvers in various environments.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, safety compliance, trainings, and coordinating with Dispatch to meet customer needs. CDL required; pre-employment screening performed; competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year driving with CDL or 1 year military driving within last 7 years.
• Must be at least 18 and legally eligible to work in the US.
• Able to read, write, and speak English sufficiently for interaction and records.
• Pre-employment screening including drug test and physical.
• CDL Class A with air-brake endorsement, or CDL Class B with air-brake endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle per WM safety rules and DOT requirements.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and complete DVIR.
• Report unsafe conditions or issues immediately.
• Attend scheduled training and meetings.
• Work with Operations Manager to improve route efficiency.
• Notify of incidents, accidents, or service interruptions.
• Communicate customer requests to Dispatch.
• Dump receptacles and leave site clean and debris-free.
• Follow route assignments and complete end-of-day checkout.
• Assist other drivers to meet customer needs.
