Job summary

WM is seeking a Heavy‑Duty Truck Driver to operate various trucks with load attachments and transport waste or recyclables to disposal or transfer facilities. The role requires high proficiency in backing maneuvers and safe operation on busy roads and residential areas.

You will perform inspections, report unsafe conditions, and coordinate with Dispatch to optimize routes. A CDL Class A or B with air‑brake endorsement is required, with English proficiency for public interaction and records

Qualifications

• Must have a CDL (Class A or Class B) with air-brake endorsement.
• 1 year driving experience with CDL or 1 year military driving in last 7 years.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to interact with the public.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty trucks and load attachments as required by the line of business.
• Perform pre and post-trip inspections and document checks.
• Communicate with operations and dispatch to maintain route efficiency and safety.
• Complete end-of-day documentation and adhere to safety regulations.
