Job summary

Brand Vaughan, a Division of US LBM Holdings, LLC in Georgia seeks a CDL Driver I to safely transport lumber and building materials to job sites and distribution centers. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain logs, and load/unload materials with a truck-mounted forklift while delivering excellent customer service.

This full-time role requires a Class A or B license, 1–2 years of CDL experience with flat beds or tractor trailers, and the ability to comply with DOT

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years CDL experience preferred; basic CDL with flat beds/tractor trailers required.
• Experience transporting and handling lumber and building materials required.

Responsibilities

• Operates Class A or B commercial vehicles in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner.
• Deliveries to active construction sites, completed locations; city and interstate travel may be required.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections for safety and compliance.
• Provides professional customer service and relays messages from customers on job sites.
• Organizes and secures loads; verifies orders before departure and on delivery.
• Complies with DOT regulations and hours-of-service requirements.
• Maintains DOT-compliant logs of driving hours, on-duty time, and rest periods.
• Delivers and unloads materials safely and accurately; ensures customer satisfaction.
• Operates truck-mounted forklift to load/unload materials at job sites.
• Maintains truck cleanliness and organization.
• Assists with stocking and organizing warehouse inventory.
