Job summary

QXO is hiring a delivery driver to perform touch-freight tasks, load materials, and verify loads at customer sites. You will inspect trucks, communicate with dispatch, and ensure a safe loading/unloading environment in all weather conditions.

Candidates must be at least 21, hold a valid Class A or B CDL, and have 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience. Heavy equipment experience and the ability to work independently or with a team are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A or B CDL license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE
