Job summary

QXO is seeking a safety‑minded CDL Driver to efficiently deliver building materials to customer sites and job locations. This role blends driving with hands‑on loading, securing, and material handling in a fast‑paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a valid CDL Class A license, clean driving record, and proficiency with route planning and delivery documentation. Daily operations include customer interactions and on‑site material placement, with a focus on safety.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL Class A license.
• Demonstrated safe driving record and compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to manage delivery schedules and routes efficiently.
• Familiarity with GPS systems and mobile delivery apps.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport building materials to customer locations per routes and schedules.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections per DOT/FMCSA rules.
• Load, secure, and unload materials using proper securing methods.
• Assist with warehouse and yard operations as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service during each delivery and assist customers with unloading when appropriate.
• Maintain clean, safe company vehicle and accurately file delivery documentation.
