Job summary

QXO seeks a CDL Class B Driver to safely deliver building materials to customer jobsites. You will operate commercial vehicles, inspect and secure loads, and collaborate with Dispatch and branch teams to ensure products arrive safely, accurately, and on time.

You’ll perform touch-freight tasks, load handling up to 75 lbs, and work outdoors in all weather. Emphasis on safety, teamwork, and reliable service with growth opportunities at QXO.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class B CDL license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials to customer jobsites safely.
• Operate commercial vehicles and inspect/secure loads.
• Assist with loading and unloading; coordinate with Dispatch and branch teams.
• Perform touch-freight tasks, loads may weigh over 75 lbs.
• Pre-inspect the truck and verify load accuracy.
• Notify branch management of hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site for safe loading.
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher for timely delivery.
• Follow DOT and company safety procedures and wear PPE.
